Liverpool's Star Issues Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
Jones has shared that Salah said sorry to the group of players in the wake of the controversy from his public comments.

Salah was left out from a key Champions League match following voicing frustrations and claiming his connection to the head coach had soured.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, please accept my apology.’”
The head coach has previously declined to disclose on whether he got an explanation from the player.
Moving Forward
He emphasized that the team's response stayed normal. “Nothing about him changed, his demeanour was positive and we all treated him normally,” the midfielder explained.
He also suggested that a player's desire to start is preferable. “It's clear there are certain ways you can go about things,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just not start, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
Positive Results
The team's performance have remained strong in the games following the initial controversy. Jones believes the outburst were not designed to cause disruption.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it’s always been from a place of caring,” Jones concluded. “We’re past that now and we’re building chemistry, performing and securing victories.”
